6 Days Explore Rwanda Tour

Day 1: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

Firstly, meet your friendly guide in Kigali. Then, enjoy a brief city tour: visit the Kimironko Market and Genocide Memorial. Next, drive to Volcanoes National Park with scenic photo stops. Finally, arrive at your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Early breakfast, followed by a park briefing. Afterwards, trek into the misty forest to find mountain gorillas. You’ll have up to 1 hour with them—perfect for photos and memories. Later, return for lunch and relax. Optionally, take an evening cultural walk.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking

Rise early for breakfast and park briefing. Then, trek to spot playful golden monkeys. You’ll spend up to 1 hour with them. Next, choose an optional visit to Karisoke or an Iby’wacu cultural tour. Finally, unwind at your lodge.

Day 4: Journey to Nyungwe Forest

After breakfast, check out and drive through stunning landscapes. Stop in Kibuye for lunch. Afterwards, continue to Nyungwe Forest. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Canopy Walk

First, breakfast and park briefing. Then, set off to find chimpanzees. You may spend some time hiking, but the encounter lasts up to 1 hour. Later, return for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a canopy walk or nature trail. Finally, dinner and rest at the lodge.

Day 6: Return to Kigali & Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Kigali. Along the way, pause for lunch and last-minute photos. If time allows, explore the city before your transfer to the airport. Thus, you’ll depart with a heart full of memories.
