The reserve is home to a large population of wildlife species, including African elephants, rhinos, cheetahs buffaloes, zebras, lions, giraffes, and many others and a variety of bird species.

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Maasai Mara.

On the first day of your four-day Masai Mara wildebeest migration safari, a driver will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi and take you to the reserve. One of the best places in the world for wildlife viewing is the Masai Mara national reserve, which is home to a variety of resident and migratory wildlife species where you’ll arrive in time for lunch before settling into your lodge.

You will check into your lodge when you get to the reserve, eat lunch and then proceed to the Mara Plains for afternoon game drive. While on the drive, keep an eye out for creatures including rhinos, elands, topis, leopards, lions, hartebeests, gazelles and many others. After you will return to your lodge after the adventure, have dinner, and spend the night there.

Days 2: full day in Maasai Mara.

On the second day of your 4 Days Maasai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari, Wake up early in the morning and take a hearty breakfast. After the breakfast you’ll depart from your lodge and travel to the reserve, where you’ll spend the day taking in the sights of the great wildebeest migration and other wildlife while enjoying a picnic lunch. From July through October, the Mara Plains are home to the migrating herds of zebras, wildebeests, elands, Thomson, and Grant’s gazelles. You will see many more creatures, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, and many more, in addition to the moving herds. At any location along the Mara River’s banks, where the thrilling river crossing occurs, you will enjoy a picnic-style lunch. After that, you’ll head back to your lodge for dinner and the night.

Day 3: full day in Maasai Mara.

You will go to the Maasai Mara national parks on the third day of the wildebeest migration safari to seek for the migratory herds and to tour the area. If you watched the wildebeest migration the previous time you were in the reserve, hopefully you will see it today. On this day, you will see more animals than you did yesterday. You can elect to drive back to your lodge for lunch or have another picnic lunch like yesterday. At the conclusion of this fantastic day of touring Maasai Mara National Reserve, you will return to your lodge, have dinner, and spend the night.
