Day 1 – Kampala to Bwindi 

On the first day of this 3-day gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park, a representative from our company will meet you at the location where you will be either at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport. Your driver guide will give you a briefing about the 3 days gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park, then later you will depart with your guide for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. When you leave in the morning between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, the journey takes about nine to ten hours.

We’ll stop along the way in a town named Kayabwe for breakfast, which is the location of the Uganda Equator, where you will have the equator experience as you will take the stunning pictures. Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking.

On the second day of our three-day safari in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast you will be given packed lunch as well and get ready for gorilla trekking.  Then meet up with your drive guide and takes you to the park headquarters for the briefing about the rules and regulations to carry during the gorilla trekking. We must first receive instruction before travelling to the jungle to view the mountain gorillas. During that time you have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have concerning the upcoming gorilla trekking excursion. We will leave no later than 8:30 am to do gorilla trekking, a strenuous physical sport that calls for a certain level of fitness, as we travel into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to mountain gorillas. We will be accompanied by a few armed game rangers.

 Your paces will determine the categories you are assigned to. Depending on how long you want to continue, this activity can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. Along the way you will watch the biodiversity in the forest like the plant species, bird species, animal species while looking for the gorillas and once the gorillas are found you can be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas while watching them feed, play, groom and many others like taking them pictures, recording them videos. From there you will go back to the starting point to receive the gorilla trekking cerficates for participating in the safari activity.

Day 3 – Departure to Kampala.

On the third day of our three-day gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi, we will have breakfast at our accommodation early in the morning before leaving for Kampala. Although the return trip takes roughly nine hours, we make sure you have some excitement on the way. Early in the morning, our driver will pass via the hills of Kigezi that are wrapped in the lovely mist before continuing through the picturesque Western Ugandan sceneries with indigenous banana/matooke plantations and cow farms in the district of Ntungamo.

 We will eat lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre to again taste on the organic and yummy food in the conducive atmosphere in Mbarara District, then proceed on journey until to the Equator, and stop for more photos, and drink some coffee before arriving in Kampala, the final stop on our three-day gorilla tour of Bwindi. You have two options after you get in Kampala: spend the night in a hotel or guest home that has been reserved, or be dropped at Entebbe International Airport.
