Day 1: Arrival to Samburu Game Reserve.Â
On the first of 3 days Samburu. Our safari driver-guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi, welcomes you and give you a briefing about the safari. After receiving a briefing, from there, you will travel to Samburu national reserve, a wildlife haven that is about 350 kilometres from Nairobi and situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ngi’iro River.
Gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, Oryx, reticulated giraffe, lion, cheetah, African leopard, elephant, cape buffaloes, hippos, warthogs, Grant’s gazelles, Kirk’s dik-dik, impalas, and waterbucks are just a few of many animals and birds found in Samburu National Reserve. Additionally, there are more than 350 bird species, including the verreaux’s eagle, secretary bird, lilac-breasted roller, and yellow-necked spur fowl.
Upon your arrival in reserve in time for lunch, which you will have at your lodge and checking in. Later that day, you will go on a game drive across the reserve in hopes of spotting some of the many species of Kenyan wildlife that call it home. You’ll head back to your safari lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay after the game drive.
Day 2: Full day in Samburu Game Reserve.
On the second of 3 days Samburu. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a relaxed breakfast. After having early breakfast you will head to the reserve for a full day game drive with picnic lunch, during the exploration you will be able to spot various animals such as the rare gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, Oryx, reticulated giraffe, lion, cheetah, African leopard, elephant, cape buffaloes, hippos, warthogs, Grant’s gazelles, kirk’s dik-dik, impalas, waterbucks among others and many birds as well. The semi-arid plains of the reserve are traversed by the gently flowing Ewaso Ngi’iro River, which you will spend the entire day exploring while taking in the magnificence of the Mathew’s range in the background. After later at the end of the day in Samburu National Reserve, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure to Nairobi.
 On the third of 3 days Samburu. Get up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, leave the reserve, and travel back to Nairobi. Depending on where you will be dropped, you will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and catch your flight home.
