Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Maasai Mara.Â
On the first day of 5 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. Your safari driver will pick you up at your Nairobi hotel at 7:30 am, and give you a briefing of the safari. And after a quick safari briefing, you will travel to Maasai Mara national reserve across the Great Rift Valley, stopping along the way to enjoy the scenery and snap photos of the escarpments. Proceed to the reserve after passing through Narok, where you may purchase lovely Maasai items including necklaces, earrings, and more. When you get to the park, you’ll check into your lodge, eat lunch, and take some time to relax before heading out on an afternoon game drive to take in the scenery and look for creatures including lions, leopards, Masai giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and more. You will return to your lodge after the experience, have dinner, and spend the night there.
Day 2: full day in Maasai Mara.Â
On the second day of 5 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. Get up early in the morning and take a relaxed breakfast, meet your safari guide and then depart for a full day of game viewing in Maasai Mara National Reserve with your packed lunch. During the game drives, you will have the chance to explore the vast plains of the reserve and will likely see lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, waterbucks, antelopes, African wild dogs, hyenas, and many other animals including the beautiful bird species. While enjoying views of animals drinking from the river and Nile crocodiles, you will eat a picnic lunch on the banks of the Mara River while enjoying the wonderful cool atmosphere. After you will return to your lodge in the evening, eat dinner there, and spend the night there.
Day 3: Morning game drive and Masai cultural encounter. Â
On the third day of 5 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and take a delicious breakfast. Meet your safari guide for your early morning game drive in Maasai Mara national reserve where you can see the big five mammals including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes and elephants. And other animal species including cheetahs, antelopes, elands, waterbucks, and many other creatures. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch. Later that afternoon, you will travel to the Maasai village where you will be entertained by Maasai dances and plays, learn more about the customs and standards of the Maasai, and engage in a variety of other activities. After you return back to your lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer from Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru.
On the fourth day of 5 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. You will leave to the Mara Plains at 6:00 am for an early-morning game drive to look for early risers like elephants, buffaloes, leopards, lions, cheetahs, and others. You will leave the experience and return to your lodge for breakfast before you check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The interesting Lake Nakuru National Park is well renowned for having Kenya’s greatest population of rhinos and a dense population of pink flamingos that swarm the lake’s edges.
Proceed on your journey until Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon your arrival check into your lodge for lunch when you get to the park, you’ll go on an afternoon game drive to look for rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and other animals plus sighting of various bird species. After the afternoon game drive, return to your lodge have dinner, and spend the night there.Â
Day 5: Transfer from Lake Nakuru national park back to Nairobi.Â
On the fifth day of 5 days Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru wildlife safari. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning, you will check out of your lodge and travel back to Nairobi, stopping along the way for enroute game drive to spot the active, early risers of the park like the endless numbers of rhinos, lions, cheetahs and many others. Once in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at the airport in time for your flight home or any other convenient place for you.
