Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Tsavo East national park.
On the first day of 3 days Tsavo East National Park safari your safari guide from Primate Holidays will meet you either at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and brief you about the safari, then you embark on your journey to Tsavo west national park, you will drive through the city center enjoying sights of various buildings then join the Great Trans African highway along Nairobi-Mombasa route. This trip takes about four to five hours by vehicle, during which you can see various cultural sites and beautiful vistas of eastern Kenya. You will stop for a rest and to use the lavatory in Mtito Andei town before continuing on to Tsavo East National Park.
Once you reach the park, you will have lunch, check into your lodge and then embark on a game drive in the afternoon. Tsavo East National Park is a fantastic tourist destination, well-known for its large lion population and breathtaking scenery. You can see lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, African hares, elands, black rhinoceroses, zebras, warthogs, mongooses, waterbucks, servals, gazelles, and a variety of birds, including ostriches, kestrels, buzzards, secretary birds, weaver birds, herons, and many more, while driving through the park. You will drive back to your lodge after the game drive, where you will eat dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Full day in Tsavo East national park.
On the second day of 3 days Tsavo East National Park safari begins with an early breakfast and a drive to Tsavo East National Park, where you will spend the entire day seeing the park’s many attractions, including a morning game drive through its several districts, where you can take in the stunning scenery and a variety of species.
There are a variety of creatures and birds to be seen, including ostriches, kestrels, buzzards, secretary birds, weaver birds, herons, starlings, and many more. You can also see lions, elephants, leopards, striped hyenas, giraffes, African hares, eland, black rhinoceroses, zebras, warthogs, mongooses, waterbucks, serval, and gazelles.
You will have picnic lunch after the morning drive. After enjoying a picnic lunch in the park’s natural setting, which is along the banks of the Galana Tsavo River, you will proceed on a nature walk and see locations such as the 1.6 km long Mudanda Rock, Lugard Falls, and the world’s largest lava flow, the Yatta Plateau. After the experience, you will return to your lodge, where you will spend the night and eat dinner.
Day 3: Transfer from Tsavo East to Nairobi.
On the third and last day of 3 days Tsavo East National Park safari you will have breakfast, checkout of your lodge and take on your drive back to Nairobi with en-route game, in Nairobi you will have lunch and be dropped off the airport for your departure flight or at your hotel.
