Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha → Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
First, your professional driver-guide picks you up in Arusha and briefs you. Next, enjoy a 2–3 hour drive through Maasai towns and farmland. Afterwards, check in, have lunch, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive to see elephants, buffalo, lions, rhinos, leopards and many plains species. Finally, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive; transfer to Lake Manyara.
Early in the morning, enjoy a sunrise game drive and observe grazers, predators and birds. Then, return for lunch and check out. Subsequently, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon drive where you’ll likely see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and the famous tree-climbing lions, plus primates and flamingos. Afterwards, dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Morning game drive; return to Arusha.
After breakfast, go on a final morning game drive to spot large herds and smaller antelope species. Then, enjoy lunch at the lodge and check out. Finally, drive back to Arusha, passing local homesteads, and get dropped at the airport or your preferred location.
