Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Kigali Tour
First, our guide meets you at Kigali Airport. Then, explore the city and visit the Genocide Memorial. After lunch, drive to Ruhengeri. Finally, settle into your lodge and dine.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Early breakfast, followed by a ranger briefing. Next, venture deep into the forest to find the gorillas. You’ll observe them for one hour. Afterwards, return for lunch. In the afternoon, optionally visit a local village for cultural insight.
Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe
After breakfast, check out and head south. Along the way, stop for bird watching and photos. Then, arrive at Nyungwe, check in, and relax over dinner.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking & Departure
Begin with breakfast, then meet your ranger for a briefing. Next, trek through Nyungwe to spot playful chimpanzees. Afterwards, return to Kigali via lunch stop. Finally, enjoy a brief city tour (if missed on Day 1) before your airport drop‑off.
