3 Days Volcanoes National Park Safari is a brief safari, but it does provide you the opportunity to see mountain gorillas in their native environment. On this journey, you visit Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park in the nation’s northwest. One of the places where tourists can see mountain gorillas and spend an hour watching them from a distance of 6 metres is Volcanoes National Park.
Highlights
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
On the first day of 3 days Volcanoes National Park. Depending on the flight used to arrive at the Kigali International airport, your driver-guide will be there to greet you and exchange pleasantries with you before giving you a briefing and taking a journey to Volcanoes National Park. For those who arrive early, take some time to tour the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site before visiting the Kimironko Market and eating lunch. You will embark on your journey that will take you two hours to Volcanoes National Park, along the way you will spot and observe the wonderful landscape of the area that will make you will special about the safari. Immediately when you reach you will check in the lodge, then have the evening relaxation, dinner and the overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in volcanoes National Park.
 On the second day of 3 days Volcanoes National Park. Wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast, and you will be given packed lunch, ready to experience gorilla trekking: This is the biggest day of the three-day expedition. In order to arrive at the park headquarters in time for the briefing about the rules and regulations on the gorilla trekking trip during the early morning, connect for an early breakfast by 6 am. You will enter the jungle and look for mountain gorillas from 30 minutes to 8 hours; on a good day, you might spend less time searching if the gorillas spent the night nearby. The length of a mountain gorilla excursion is solely determined by the gorillas’ overnight location or the distance they have travelled through the forest. When you do get to see the mountain gorillas, you are given a full hour to observe them from a distance of 6 metres while they go about their daily activities. You will different biodiversity present in the park, and after that one hour you leave the forest and head back to that starting point to pick your gorilla trekking certificate and after head back to your lodge for evening relaxation.
Iby’iwachu Cultural Tour: If you still have the energy left over, you can arrange with your driver-guide to go on a cultural tour of the Iby’iwachu Cultural Centre. This will give you a sample of the dances, languages, and traditional ways of life that make up Rwandan culture. Before dusk, arrive back at your lodge in time for dinner. Continue to spend the second night in the same hotel.
Day 3: Drive back to Kigali.
 On the third day of 3 daysVolcanoes National Park. Get up early, check out take a filling breakfast at your lodge, after the breakfast you will begin the three to two-hour drive back to Kigali City. If inclined, you could stop en route to see the Dian Fossey Fund Museum, eat lunch in Musanze, and then continue on your way to be dropped off in Kigali.
