Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Entebbe International Airport
Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation.
Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to relax at your hotel or explore some of Entebbe’s attractions.

Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale National Park via the Equator
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Kibale National Park, one of Africa’s most important primate destinations.
The journey takes you through the beautiful Ugandan countryside, with a stop at the Equator. Here, you can take photographs, explore the equator monument, and enjoy a memorable experience at one of Uganda’s most famous landmarks.
Continue towards Kibale Forest, where you will arrive later in the day and relax at your lodge in preparation for the following day’s chimpanzee trekking experience.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today you enter the ancient rainforest of Kibale for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience.
Kibale is famous for having one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa. During your trek, you may encounter chimpanzees as well as red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and numerous bird species.
After the trek, continue towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations.
The journey takes you through beautiful landscapes and traditional communities before reaching your lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Wake up early for a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The early morning is an excellent time to search for wildlife as animals are active in the cooler hours of the day.
You may encounter:

- Uganda kobs
- Warthogs
- Waterbucks
- Leopards
- Antelopes
In the afternoon, enjoy a spectacular boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
The channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is famous for its enormous concentration of hippos and other wildlife.
As you cruise along the water, look out for elephants and buffaloes along the shoreline, hippos in the water, crocodiles, and hundreds of birds.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha
Today, travel towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to some of the world’s last remaining mountain gorillas.
The journey takes you through the spectacular Ishasha Sector, located in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Ishasha is particularly famous for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Continue towards Bwindi, enjoying spectacular views of the rolling hills and highlands of southwestern Uganda.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi
Today is one of the most anticipated days of your East African adventure.
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking experience.
Your trek takes you through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
When you finally encounter the gorillas, you will have the opportunity to observe them as they feed, groom, play, rest, and interact with one another.
The encounter is limited to the time permitted by park authorities and is designed to protect both visitors and the gorillas.
After the trek, travel to beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most scenic lakes.
Relax and enjoy the spectacular landscape of rolling hills and small islands.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi – Cross into Rwanda – Kigali City Tour
After breakfast, leave Uganda and cross into Rwanda.
Continue to Kigali, Rwanda’s clean and vibrant capital city.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour exploring some of Kigali’s highlights.
You may visit local markets, cultural attractions, craft centres, and other important sites.
Kigali provides an interesting contrast to the wilderness experiences of the previous days.

Day 8: Kigali – Nairobi – Nairobi City Exploration
After breakfast, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Nairobi, Kenya.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy an introduction to Nairobi, one of Africa’s most vibrant capital cities.

Day 9: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
Lake Nakuru is renowned for its beautiful landscapes, birdlife, and diverse wildlife.

Day 11: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari
Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara.
This is one of the highlights of your Kenya safari.
The reserve is famous for its large populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife.
If traveling during the appropriate season, you may also witness part of the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration.

Today marks the transition from Kenya to Tanzania.

As you enter the park, begin looking out for wildlife along the way.
