Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Firstly, your driver-guide picks you up from Kampala or Entebbe. Then, pause at the Equator for photos and crafts, and enjoy lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre. Afterward, continue through tea plantations to the park, where an evening game drive in Ishasha offers chances to see tree-climbing lions and Uganda kobs. Finally, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Kasenyi game drive & Kazinga Channel boat cruise.
In the morning, set out for lion tracking across the Kasenyi plains; consequently, you may spot elephants, leopards, buffalo and diverse antelope. After lunch, cruise the Kazinga Channel for close views of hippos, crocodiles and prolific birdlife. Then, return to the lodge to relax and dine.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking (Kyambura Gorge) + crater lakes.
Early breakfast precedes a guided trek into Kyambura Gorge to find chimpanzees and other primates. Moreover, after trekking, visit Lake Katwe to observe traditional salt mining and Lake Munyanyange for rich birdwatching. Afterwards, head back for an evening at the lodge.
Day 4: Final game drive & return to Kampala.
After a relaxed breakfast and morning game drive to catch any missed wildlife, depart via Fort Portal for lunch and arrive in Kampala by early evening. Finally, you’ll be dropped at Entebbe Airport or your preferred location.
