Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Afternoon Boat Cruise

Upon landing at Kigali International Airport, our friendly guide greets you and provides an insightful briefing. Consequently, you’ll journey through the rolling “Land of a Thousand Hills” toward Akagera National Park. After checking into your lodge and enjoying a delicious lunch, you’ll embark on a late-afternoon boat cruise.

During the cruise, you’ll observe graceful giraffes and zebras quenching their thirst, crocodiles lazing on riverbanks, and myriad waterfowl among them the rare shoebill stork and African kingfisher capturing prey in the fading light. Finally, return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay under the stars.

Day 2: Morning & Afternoon Game Drives

Early wake-up calls reward you with a hearty breakfast before setting off on your first game drive. Moreover, you’ll track lions, leopards, buffalo, and elusive rhinos against the sunrise.

After returning to camp for lunch and a brief rest, you’ll head back into the park for an afternoon drive. Here, you’ll witness predators preparing for their evening hunt as antelopes, bushbucks, and oribis seek shelter for the night. Then, retreat to your lodge for a sumptuous dinner and well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Kigali Cultural Tour & Departure

Following breakfast, check out of your lodge and journey back to Kigali. Meanwhile, explore Rwanda’s vibrant capital on a guided city tour stopping at museums, markets, and memorials. After a leisurely lunch, we’ll drop you at Kigali International Airport or your preferred city location, concluding your extraordinary safari.
