Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and return to Kampala

Early in the morning, have breakfast and then attend the park briefing on trekking dos and don’ts. Next, you’ll be grouped (max six) with a park ranger to track chimpanzees through the forest. Moreover, you’ll likely encounter other primates and birds – such as red-tailed monkeys, white and black monkeys, colobus monkeys, and baboons. Once assigned a chimpanzee group, you will spend one hour observing and photographing them while following park rules.
