Detailed 2-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha → Lake Manyara | Full-day game drive

Your professional Primate Holidays guide will meet you after breakfast (around 07:30) for a briefing. Then, you’ll drive about two hours to 

Lake Manyara National Park. After check-in at the lodge, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Expect close encounters with elephants and buffalo, and keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions. Afterwards, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 2: Morning game drive → Canoe → Return to Arusha

Early after breakfast, head out for a morning game drive to spot any wildlife missed the day before. Then, return to the lodge for lunch and check-out. In the afternoon, experience a peaceful canoe ride on the lake. Finally, you’ll drive back to Arusha, concluding your safari.
