14 Days Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Arrival & Kigali City Tour

Upon arrival in Kigali, meet your expert guide. First, visit the Genocide Memorial. Then, transfer to Ruhengeri for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, attend a park briefing. Next, trek through bamboo forests in search of mountain gorillas. Finally, return to your lodge for an evening of rest.

Day 3: Nyungwe Canopy Walk

Following breakfast, drive to Nyungwe Forest. Subsequently, lunch en route precedes your 50 m canopy walk. Later, unwind at Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe

Rise early for breakfast and a chimp-tracking briefing. Then, spend up to three hours observing chimpanzees. Afterward, return to Kigali for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Fly to Nairobi

Transfer to Kigali airport and fly to Nairobi. Upon arrival, meet your Kenyan guide, then settle into Le Maison Royale Lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Nairobi. Enjoy an afternoon game drive spotting flamingos, rhinos, buffalos and more. Conclude the day with dinner at your lodge.

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Drive 4–5 hours to Maasai Mara. Upon arrival, check in and savor lunch. Later, embark on your first afternoon game drive, then dine at AA Mara Lodge.

Day 8: Full-Day in Maasai Mara

After a hearty breakfast, set off on morning and afternoon drives. Consequently, you’ll witness lions, elephants, cheetahs, zebras and wildebeest herds.

Day 9: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Depart early for the Serengeti via the Isebania border. Meet your Tanzanian guide, then relax at your central Serengeti lodge.

Day 10: All-Day Serengeti Game Drives

Rise with the sun for morning game drives. Afterwards, enjoy lunch and additional afternoon wildlife viewing, seeking the Big Five and more.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

Following breakfast, drive into the crater. Subsequently, descend to the floor for a game drive, viewing hippos, flamingos at Lake Magadi, and abundant predators.

Day 12: Tarangire National Park

Enjoy breakfast, then travel to Tarangire. In the afternoon, explore baobab forests and the Tarangire River, encountering large elephant herds and over 500 bird species.

Day 13: Return to Arusha

After breakfast, head to Arusha. Thereafter, spend your afternoon at leisure before dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 14: Departure

Finally, after breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home taking memories of East Africa’s wild heart with you.
