7 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration tour is a safari within various locations in Tanzania like Lake Manyara national park, Serengeti national park where you will visit the central and northern parts of the national park as well as Ngorongoro crater. Along with visiting the Mara River, where wildebeest migration river crossings occur, you will also explore the Ngorongoro Crater, home to the Great Rift Valley and opportunities to spot wildlife including the Big Five mammals.

Highlights
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park.
On the 1st day of 7 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration tour. Your guide will pick you up from the airport or at your hotel in Arusha and welcome you for your safari in Tanzania. There will be a briefing regarding your safari. On the way to Lake Manyara National Park, your guide will drive you to Mto wa mbu town, where you will engage with the locals and go on a guided village walk. There are over 120 Tanzanian tribes represented in this town, and during the community walk, you will see the traditional homesteads, the local marketplace, and the fields.
After your visit to Mto wa Mbu Town, you will continue on to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will have lunch and check into your lodge. In the national park, you will also take a game drive where you can enjoy the experience of spotting many wildlife species, including waterbucks, giraffes, hippos, impalas, and monkeys. This national park is home to the rare tree-climbing lions and after your game drive, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Drive to Serengeti national park (central).
On the 2nd day of 7 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration tour. Get up early in the morning and take breakfast. After having breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven to Serengeti national park where you are going to have more wildlife viewing experiences around the central part of the national park. During a safari, you may see nearly 4,000 lions and numerous other wildlife species roaming across the broad savanna plains of this national park. Your lunch will be served at your lodge before you take part in an afternoon game drive.
You will be looking for wildlife species such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos (big 5) as well as other wildlife species like cheetahs, gazelles, impalas, hippos, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and many others. After your afternoon wildlife drive, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and the night.
Day 3: Transfer to northern Serengeti national park.
On the 3rd day of 7 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration tour. As you get ready for an early morning game drive in the park’s centre, breakfast will be served at your lodge. You will depart with your packed lunches for the transfer to the northern part of the national park. During month of late July to mid-October, you can enjoy seeing the wildebeest migration in this part of the national park. As the wildebeests struggle to reach the Masai Mara national reserve, river crossings occur along the Mara River.
In the northern Serengeti National Park, one can also witness a variety of other wildlife species, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night.
Day 4: Full day in Serengeti national park (north).
On the 4th day of 7 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration tour. While waiting to go on morning and afternoon game drives in the northern region of the Serengeti National Park, you will eat breakfast at your lodge. Driving around the Mara River will be enjoyable, and you may enjoy seeing many wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. After lunch, you will go on another wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park.
During the wildebeest migration in the northern part of Serengeti national park in the months of late July to mid-October when over 2 million wildebeests battle to cross the Mara river which has Nile crocodiles. You will return to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and to spend the night.
Day 5: Visit Lobo area and drive to central Serengeti national park.
On the fifth day of your safari, breakfast will be provided at your lodge while you get ready for a game drive to the Lobo region, where you can see even more animals. You will seek for several wildlife species while exploring the lobo area, including cheetahs, leopards, lions in prides, and klip springers. You will get ready for a transfer to either the Seronera area or the heart of the Serengeti National Park.
You will have dinner and overnight at your lodge after your experience transmitting to the central part of Serengeti national park during your 7 days wildebeest migration tour.
Day 6: drive to Ngorongoro crater.
On the 6th day of 7 Days Tanzania Wildebeest Migration tour. You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for a transfer to the Ngorongoro crater which is referred to as the world’s largest inactive caldera. You will get the opportunity to picnic while descending 600 metres into the Ngorongoro crater in quest of further wildlife viewing opportunities. While on a game drive through the Ngorongoro Forest, you will take in breathtaking views and search for a variety of wildlife, including warthogs, gazelles, impalas, hippos, waterbucks, jackals, lions, and leopards.

Day 7: Drive to Arusha.
